RPOA Members,

The City of Redding and Redding Peace Officers' Association have come to a "tentative agreement" on our contract. Attached are the details of the agreement as well as a copy of the proposed MOU modifications.

In short, we have tentatively agreed to, basically a 3-Year "status quo" pay contract (expiring 2 years from when the contract is accepted by City Council). Our contract expired June 2017 and the new contract, if accepted by both parties, would go into effect most likely May 2018.

There are some minor MOU language modifications, all of which benefit our Association and clear up some confusing language.

Your negotiations team and attorney have reviewed the offer.

We have attached the information to this email. Please review it and let us know promptly if you see any problems with it.

THERE WILL BE BALLOTS PLACED IN YOUR WORK MAILBOXES Monday April 16th.

Please complete the ballot and place it in the RPOA Ballot Box located in the hallway of the Patrol Building. Only written ballots will be accepted.

Ballots are due no later than 6pm Friday, April 27th, 2018.
