We Back The Blue - Shasta helping families of Dallas Officers, Calif. - “We Back The Blue” in Redding is showing support to the officers killed in Dallas back in July.

Wednesday, the organization presented a check for $2,650 to the Redding Police Officers’ Association.

This particular campaign launched only last month. Since then all donations from the “We Back The Blue” t-shirts were collected for the families of the five officers killed.

Co-Chair Brian Martin said it was a group effort to make a meaningful response to the tragedy.

"It lets people know that even out here in little Redding that we care what happens everywhere to our law enforcement officers," said Martin.

Martin said the organization has come a long way since it started in 2015.

This fall Hawes Farms will even have a special “We Back The Blue” themed corn maze. They will also hold a special heroes weekend in November.
